If your Model is going to bend in some animation shots, you should avoid Triangles
and as far this modelling concept is awesome as a tuff weapon like this will not bend even in extreme animation shots

Sorry but I think this is really not a proper way to model.. I mean, I am no pro myself, but this topology? You was like randomly making tris and quads without thiking about it.. Also, it is not really a 3D model, more like a bulked 2D plain…
How do you pull lines around like that? Around 0:18 at video, I'm trying to do it but it does not work, I hold E and I can't move lines.

Horrible topology :/ You should start with a cube and then divide it or extrude. That helps you to make clean topology but still you should take care about it. Nice and clean topology allows you to subdivide model and modify it easly.
