  1. Hi Derek, I have a lot of respect for already and I just found your channel a couple weeks ago. Since I respect you so much I respect your opinion on what I might decide to do very soon. I wanted to get into computer programming, I’m very interested and I don’t know exactly where to start. I had a few ideas that I’d like to address. First, I thought I could learn Lisp then watch the lectures from the book titled “Structure and interpretation of computer programs” to understand how to think like a programmer. Then, I thought I could learn Python or a programming language that could make video games so that I could associate programming with “fun”. Finally, I thought I could learn whatever I was most interested in according to the industry that I wanted to pursue. I am the most enthusiastic about learning robotics, AI, and video games as of right now. Could you provide me any tips or suggestions? Also does this sound like a good plan or should I make any alterations to it? This is very important to me and I’d appreciate your most honest opinion.

  2. I was REALLY hoping you would be demonstrating the blender gcode plug in!!! Still a great video as always Derek. You're still the best software tutorial channel on youtube!! GOAT!!
