You just turn the clamp indirect up to get rid of the dots in cycles.
The video is really helpful but pls do a little more away from your microphone 🙂

mine doesn't work for some reason its still really spiky and doesn't look at all like the picture .
the title of the video should mention the use of crazybump. And also this video could have been more useful if teaches the workflow for creating textures for any type of objects.
I whish to make custom textures in the model, i already learned how to bake a normal map from a high poly version of the object which need to use UVs. But i don't want to get a generic texture to apply to it, because i want seams to be perfect. So i need just to learn a work flow on how to texturize the model and using the built in blender tools for it. I guess its the painting mode, but i know nothing of it.
Any way i don't want to use any external tool. Must be 100% blender.
If anyone know what i am talking about pls give me some help or point me to the right direction. thank you.

how can i uninstall an addone from blender as i saw that it is showing duplicate addone error and i am not able to install and active this addone.
Great tute except that I now have a single plane but 250,000 vertices in the scene. I'll bump that SubSurf modifier down some.
The shading mode only affects the shadows. Smooth tells the render to blend each face's shadow with that of nearby faces so there isn't sharp differences between faces while flat tells it not to.

14 minutes long tutorial on how to make and apply a displacement map. And not only that but some of the stuff you did was nonsense (eg: adding an extra material for no aparent reason)

I want to export it as .fbx file then import it in unity but when I imported it, it becomes colorless…What should I do I to make restore its colors when I am exporting it as .fbx file?? Please help..
Okay thanks for this, but I want to learn Cycles because Blender Render it seems is on its way out as many people are switching to Cycles, so you said there are several videos for Cycles but not properly like you showed, please post one for Cycles or point me to one of your videos on Cycles

crazybump is fine if your using it just for your own personal pleasure AND you are willing to pay 99 dollars or you only ever want to use it for 1 month. Other wise you have to play 299 if you even have the slightest inkling you will use it for an actual purpose of making a living.
