By the way… The window generator has been updated. You can find the new version here.

technically command line based computers did green text waaaaaay before the Matrix ever came out, people just think of the Matrix because the movie loved using the colour green wherever it could

Honestly I don't like my own country enough to have the Union Flag as a wallpaper, heck if it wasn't for the asymmetricality I'd probably have the Australian flag as my wallpaper.

I just wanted to point out, with Node Wrangler, you can select your node and push ctrl-t, and it will insert a mapping/texture coordinates nodes just to make things faster.

Not sure how much has changed since 2014, but when I add the couch to the scene, my vertices go up to 805k, when at the same time in the video Andrew has 24k. I thought it might be that I duplicated it (triplicated, quadruplicated) somehow, so I deleted the couch and added it again. Nope, still 805k vertices, so whenever I press Shift Z to preview, my PC goes kaput for a few seconds. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance

Regarding the Windows Generator 2 add-on mentioned at 14:53, it looks like it's been superseded by Archimesh which you don't need to download. I'm using Blender 2.78 and could enable it by checking the box at user_preferences -> addons -> community -> archimesh. It works well with this tutorial.

I got this right: you don't usually model your furniture your selfie, if you design a scene. You use premodeld furniture and place it in the scene.
