This is the end result of my attempt doing the CGC Classic tutorial by David Ward, Creating a Cartoon Turtle in Blender 3D.
After the 3d modeling, texture painting and rigging part, I made a walk cycle animation, for my Cartoon Turtle.
I was not satisfied with the overall result so I made another walk cycle animation. This time with voice over and blinking eyes. Storyline and voice are done by my nephew Dirk van der Wardt.
The whole project, 3d modeling, texture painting and video editing are done in Blender 3D.

super cute! I so love this cute turtle Bram <3
Really fun with the animation. When you can get it I bet you would have a blast with Zbrush also.
Greate work bro ! Looks awesome !
Beautiful.
Nice work, Bram.
I've dabbled with Blender a fair bit but still regard myself as a noob.
Seems to me that character work – modeling + animation – is one of the hardest things to do in Blender. Anyone who's good at that type of work can truly claim to have mastered the software.
I aim to get there one day. 🙂
Good Luck with your next project.
very well made my friend. Looking forward seeing more of this!
looks good
