  1. long and useless for animation. just a lot of messing around to get the light right at ONE camera angle.

Show us how to do a proper finding nemo style underwater scene with an ocean surface! Then we are talking.
This is crap. What the hell am I going to use this scene for?

  2. Hello, I've followed this tutorial up to the part at 9:16, however in my version of Blender the menu is a bit different, featuring the ability to assign an object. I could use an update on this, since clearly they changed the way of doing this in a later version. Does this make a difference?

  3. at ~18:40, you turn off the shadows for the top water plane to let the light rays shine through, I have version 2.78 and that button isnt there anymore. I was wondering where it is now or another thing I could do to create the same effect.

  4. Hey, don't know if you still read these comments, but I have a problem, my ocean doesn't look "glassy" as yours, instead the waves look kinda "oily" because it seems they're way too dark at parts: http://i.imgur.com/lOFesAx.png (render with really low samples). Already tryed playing with the ocean glassy shader but didn't really help 🙁
Edit: Heres another example where I played a bit with ocean settings and higher samples, but still unsatisfied with the water: http://i.imgur.com/EetyUsO.png
