  1. It's neat – similar to Prisma if I remember correctly. As others have said, not an everyday thing, but it's cool. The one thing I'm confused is why it needs to send data back up to the cloud. I understand it's for processing, and that way you don't need a good GPU to do this, but if the cloud goes down and you're under a deadline? Or if you're offline? Would be cool to know if it switches back and forth 🙂

  2. I'd like a better view of that beautiful dog with long ears in the background. 🤎🐶🤎 Back to the video…… I can see myself playing with this feature to create some POD items. 😀 Thanks Aaron! 🌟🧡🌟

  3. I believe this can be done without the neural filters. Of course you are showing this new tool but I'm interested in seeing how it could done with old oil filters in the gallery filters. Not everybody has the latest PS version. Besides I'm not very fond of this neural filters because every time you make a change in any slider, the picture must be reprocessed in the cloud again and if it's something complex the processing time will increase a lot than being done locally.

  4. I like this! I've done something similar (using crazy adjustments / overlays / layer blending modes, etc.) to 'rescue' a boring photo by making it 'artsy'. Using styles seems a much quicker / focused way to do it. Hopefully they will eventually allow importing of styles. I guess the only concern is copying a particular artist's 'style' might cause some ethical (?) or copyright (?) issues (though such a claim might be long stretch) …

  5. I have followed Aaron for more than 6 years and I am glad to see that his passion and clarity remain as good as they were in the beginning. Seeing his videos not only improve my photoshop skills but also motivate me to have a positive attitude toward life. Thanks, Aaron!

  6. So cool – and clearly explained! Lately I've enjoyed tinkering with Filter > Filter Gallery > Poster Edges (or Fresco) for a comic book effect, and Aaron has given me some interesting new toys to play with.

  7. I think it would be fun to use from time to time, with the right image. I’ve used Photoshop for many years, so I’m comfortable with it. This filter, as well as the other neural filters, could help newer users get comfortable with Photoshop without feeling overwhelmed or being afraid they’ll “break” Photoshop!

  8. I was experimenting last week with the neural filters.
I have been using Corel Painter to do many of my special F/X prints.
The options are currently limited and I hope Adobe will roll out many additional templates,
along with their Beta categories. That will be a major boost for PS.

    Thanks,
    Rick

  9. I think it's pretty rad. I also think it could get overused pretty quickly without the the ability to import your own. I can see this a aa great tool to add funky textures and elements to composites. Pretty rad overall.

  10. The AI stuff Adobe is doing is a great direction for them to expand into.

I doubt this will be as everyday useful as the Dissolve blend mode or the Slice tool… bwahahhhaha, I can't, I can't even continue…
I can't wait for them to allow for user uploaded styles.

  11. I wanted to see how this works and my version of PS does not have these filters loaded – did I miss a step, is there something else I should do, update? Love the concept and the hound on the couch in the background.
