A seasonally appropriate project: Icicles. During this stream I will create an icicle render from scratch. The goal is realistic lighting and shading with a macro camera angle. Meaning up-close and strong depth of field.

  1. About Eevee: you need to get a new computer, a strong graphics card is very important for realtime rendering.
Once you have a powerful workstation you will never want to go back.
Got myself a PC for 1800 € recently and it performs like a boss.

  2. Hey CG Cookie- , I love your videos so much! i have request if you can help me rig a 3d model of a nissan 370z. I can't get the suspension or the steering right. Ive watched your videos and many other you tubers but i can't get it rigged. Now i do have another 3d model car that's been rigged up , but i don't know if i can some how copy and paste the steering and suspension to my 370z. I would greatly appreciate it if you can have a look. thank you and i will see you in your next video.

  3. To get back the normal cutting noodles tool, go to Preferences>Keymap>Node Editor>Node Editor (Global)>Cut Links, change it from Tweak to Mouse and then set the thing next to it to Ctrl Left Mouse.

  4. Btw, for the mac users
Choose System Preferences from the Apple menu.

    Click Keyboard.

Click the Keyboard tab if it's not already highlighted.

Select "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys"

  5. Maybe a black light scene in one of your projects, where you can see the light from the bulbs and when turned on makes all the scene come glowing alive like a real black light.

  6. Oh man, this is sweet music to my ears. I have been asking different people who teach blender to please do some full project tutorials. I am with you all the way.. Do some stuff taking vectors into blender and making them 3d in some of your projects. How about some crystal lettering.
