Thanks so much!!
If you don't have the material output node, here are some steps you should follow.
1. Change the internal to Cycles rather than Blender (at the top beside the blender logo).
2. Enable the correct node workspace (like it says in the video).
3. Make sure Use Nodes checkbox is checked (it's in the node editor panel!)
how can i enable my material output ?
The cycles node editor was this easy the whole time? I've been running scared of it for nothing…
Can you only work with nodes in Cycles Render?
if I open the node editor then there are no nodes, what shall I do?
I checked my node workspace and I still don't have the materialize node.. Help?!
perfect !! all your videos are perfect man , thxx a lot , i have been learning from them from A to Z ,,
How to learn each node in details from basic any video series on each topic
I am wondering what is the difference between the mix and add shader? Is add shader takes the parameter in mix shader for 50%?
great!!
I've spent a lot of time messing around, creating my own node setups for cycles materials. I wish I would have seen this 3 minute video before I started. It would have saved me a lot of struggle learning how stuff works. This whole series is great fundamental stuff!
I got a minute into the video and "Shift -> Add" didn't let me add Shaders. For anyone else that had that problem, remember you need to switch from "Blender Render" to "Cycles Render" for those menu options to become available.
Awesome video
