I get a lot of questions about how I do things, so i thought the best response would be with a YouTube video since…well…YouTube is where i spend most of my times these days.

You sound like a cool person.
thx this really helped
i have used a few other programs for at least 3 years, (paint, firealpaca, paint tool sai) and photoshop seemed interesting. my mom is a photographer, and i use her computer, so i have access to phtoshop. it has some pretty cool stuff, but i understand nothing. my mom said that i would get it down pretty quick, seeming as i am somewhat experienced at digital art, however i dont see how i could ever figure it out. this is a long video and it is a school night, so i have been skipping around a bit and i am still clueless. it is like completely starting over at digital are with no skill and im starting out on the hardest program that there is. i dont even understand what she is saying. if someone could please help me figure it out, like explain it simpler and shorter, or just give me a few tips? thanks. sorry to waste your time.
Damn, I can't find Expand on GIMP. 🙁 I don't think it has that feature.
Hey waffles.. so I've asked a lot of people on youtube that use PS for drawing and I see a lot of people select a piece of a sketch and they almost seem to use the transform tool but not on the whole layer just on say the last thing they drew it comes up as a square with dots on the sides for editing the size and moving it around any help??
But…how do yo get photoshop!!!!!!
Do you use photoshop on any kind of pc or laptop? I followed the tutorial on a laptop and I was like ''Gee, I really underestimated how hard this is!'' Thanks waffles :3
I try to draw with a mouse (because I'm too cheap for a graphics tablet) and I use Autodesk sketchbook and it always looks….less than decent. So thank you for making this
do these tricks work with other sowtwares
Pixels per Inch= PPI -_- I was working in Centimeters lol
Very relaxing and informative! Thanks!! A great video for the start of my PS tutorial adventure!!
i need 3d digital art.. not this… this can be done on vector graphics tooo.. illustrator or coral draw.. wasted time
"So now when I zoom in…" THU THU THU THU THUMP
Just wanted to say thanks for this video! I always think "Okay, today I'm gonna do something in photoshop.", but then it all seems so complicated. You really made everything seem a bit more simple, thank you!
i have deleted the background plz help what should i do
so freaking helpful
i has another question… so you set the layer to multiply so the lineart can remain lineart and you can color everything in without losing the quality of the lineart. what about if you already created the lineart, colored in and everything but now you want the line art to blend with the colors? so instead of black lineart for skin, you want it to not be black instead you want it to be just a little darker than the skin? so you can still tell its lineart its just not black anymore? or am i screwed at that point? lol!
what about uploading your art to say society6? should you render a 300 dpi and a 72dpi seperate?
totally helpful, thanks!
Loved it~! –
