So what would be a good camera for under 400 that you would suggest I plan on getting a new one just would like something that will be cheap enough to afford but still a really good camera

The hair shot was decent but if you want that full effect try letting the model stand over you while laying down. The braids will fall naturally where it desire.
What about putting a hair rubberband around the lens base and pulling the ends of the braids through it so you can keep your tension and have better camera control?
