  1. Does abybody know what this Texture button do under the material in blender 2.8, when ever i try to make new texture there i press new and i add a picture, it doesnt show like in blender 2.79, im using blender 2.8 and following 2.79 tutorials, can some1 explain why this is happening and the texture is not showing please, thanks in advance!

  2. They should fix their collada exporter cause at this point in time it just closes the program if i dare. Doesn't seem like they are adding configurable coordinate system either. Blender is great and at the same time blender is a complete nightmare.

  3. Is this really happening :O πŸ˜€ Has blender finally decided to stop being retarded? πŸ˜€
Been trying to use it since like forever, but every time I use it I started to uncontrollably vomit over everything because the interface was so incredibly bad so I used other modelling programs instead. Sculpting is basically the only thing I did in blender before.

  4. I tried modeling in a Blender 2.8 Some first impression, excellent interface make-up looks very nice. I'm disappointed with the features compared to 3ds Max. I put focus only on modeling because I did not try the other things in Blender. It would be nice for Blender to reach some level as 3ds Max. I would like others to support this project, I think absolutely worth it.

  5. I've hated blender ever since I first tried it several years ago. Any piece of software that has as its default UI was a set of completely unfamiliar metaphors needs to be thrown into the recycle bin right away (and it was). It started in Cursor Mode and it wasn't obvious how to change it to Select Mode, which is the usual mode to start with. Imagine my surprise running 2.8 today. It starts in Select Mode and there's a neat little toolbar on the left side! I may give it a go now.

  6. im totally for learning that don't make immediate sense, most of the fascinating stuff in science fields is discovering what was thought counter-intuitive, to actually be a solid hundo. that being said, lord we've been waiting for this day. moving forward we will click our things with freedododooomm!!!~~

  7. I"m really liking blender 2.8 beta, a much better overall experience but I"ve not worked my way through all of it, but having said that, when are we going to see , big meshes ( mine atm is 2 mil tris) not take seemingly forever just to get into edit mode ? I could do a video, maybe I will, but I think everyone is aware of it though I don't see many people talk about it, sadly. The problem is still sadly, extremely apparent.

That's all I really care about, short of that blender seems primetime ready . So far, I've got to continue constant use of houdini to avoid the nasty edit wait time.
