ABOUT ME
Hey guys! I am a Canadian beauty “guru” – lol not really. I just love makeup, hair, fashion, design.. and I enjoy documenting these things. I’m not a false-eyelash, perfect nails, hair extensions kind of girl. My channel is for the everyday person – the lazy person, the person who colours their hair crazy colours once in a while, the person who has a budget and can’t afford tons of expensive shit, the person who skips steps in the stereotypical beauty routine. This channel is evolving into something I’m really proud of. Join the fun, subscribe if you want, and we can be everyday people together. Y’know, if you like that kinda thing.

Some of the product links may be affiliate links – this means I can earn a small percentage if you choose to click and purchase the product. This is at NO extra cost to you. Feel free to use these links if you’d like to support my channel so that I can continue to do product reviews without literally selling a kidney. lol jk, but really though, any dollar I make I put back into this channel. Thank you SO much if you choose to use these links.

  1. Great tips! I too am super oily scalp & face, have been all my life. There is an up side to us oily gals; less wrinkles than our dryer skinned sisters as we age. I'm 59 and my friends & family say I hide my age well, my mother too. Truth is we both have always fought the oily skin battle. Speaking of an oily face, your skin looks fantastic! What foundation do you find works the best for oily skin?

  2. I saw Nikkia's video, too, about adding salt to shampoo but it didn't work for me. I thought it was at first but after going through about half a bottle I didn't notice any change. I wish it would have. Hopefully it works for some people.

  3. Have you tried the Garnier Pure Clean dry shampoo? It’s by far the best I’ve used, the only bad thing is that the bottle is too small. It’s getting harder to find, I hope they don’t discontinue it.

  4. I find that if I use a moisturising shampoo and conditioner and wash my hair with colder water then I can go 3 days without washing.

I used to use a shampoo for ‘oily scalp’ and my hair would get greasy in hours.

  5. If I let my hair get too oily I get SD, aka seborrheic dermatitis (itch, flakes, redness). I went to the dermatologist for it, and was prescribed Nizoral 2%. This is a shampoo I use in emergencies and when it gets bad. In between "bouts" of this, I just wash with a strong sulfate shampoo (I can't go sulfate-free which is so popular on YT these days), and it limits the times I have to use my medicated shampoo. I would hesitate with the salt (your drain might get clogged quite fast).

  6. One thing that helps me a lot is tea tree oil shampoo. I don´t know if you can get this in canada or the US but I love the Swiss o Pair one and it is fairly inexpensive. But the smell…..oh god so bad

  7. I wish I could be her friend, she seems such a nice girl, you can tell she isn't like other YouTubers, she have a really nice and unique personality I just love her.. Gettings from Mexico Jess 🙋

  8. I’m such a weirdo when it comes to textures. I don’t like the texture of having oil hair but I also don’t like the feeling of dry shampoo. I have tried so many dry shampoos too since I have a Birchbox subscription. Using the makeup setting powder is a GREAT idea! 🙂

  9. I can’t tell you how much I love watching your videos! It’s so nice to watch someone who has oily skin like me, oily hair like me, and hooded eyes like me! Your makeup style has inspired me so much! 💖
