WHAT WILL I LEARN?

If you’ve just started tinkering with HDR lighting in Blender, it may seem daunting. So hard to control the direction of light (Gimme the rim light, you, Blender!). Even harder to avoid a blown-out background.

On top of that, there seems to be so many things to wrap your head around: High Dynamic Range, 32-bit textures, Filmic color management…

But actually, this lighting workflow for Blender is MUCH easier than you might have thought. I promise.

  3. Hi Gleb! I've been an architect for two months and i work with 3DS Max and Corona Renderer currently.. with whom I have exactly the same problems described by you! Proposed solutions and theory can be applied in other programs? I have never used a blender, but I usually work with the node-based editor of Max.
Sorry for my bad English, I'm an Italian fan 🙂
