Helpful Tips for Better Landscape Photography

Landscape photography is a tricky genre that takes the confluence of multiple threads of technical prowess, creative thinking, and a bit of luck from the elements to create a successful image. This helpful video will give you lots of great tips to improve your landscape photography.

Coming to you from Adam Gibbs, this great video will give you a few helpful tips to improve your landscape photography. Personally, the best thing I ever learned was to embrace the elements. When I first started, I tended to have an image in my head that I was set on getting, typically something involving dramatic, golden sunlight. Unfortunately, I live in Cleveland, and we have a lot of gray, drab days here. This meant I often came home without an image in those early days. It was not until I learned to start working with the conditions I was presented that I not only started making photos at a much faster pace, but I also expanded my creative repertoire by learning that you can make great images no matter the weather conditions so long as you work with them and not against them. Check out the video above for lots of helpful tips from Gibbs.
