  1. My camera doesn't have WiFi connections so I can't operate it via my phone and it doesn't have an interval time only a self delay timer, which can be quite frustrating to use at times. Are there any other methods of self portrait photography that you could recommend to me? As I can't afford to invest in a new camera/lens etc.
    Thanks

  2. I'm a fan of using the flip out screen on my Canon, I can compose my shot then use a remote trigger to take it. I find it less laggy than the phone app. It has its limitations as you need to be close enough to see the screen but for those kinda shots it works well.

  3. I did some interval timer photos of myself today with the 200-600mm…talk about nerve wracking leaving $4k worth of gear on a tripod and walking 100 yards away! I do have a question though, is there any device that would work at a great distance to focus the camera on me. I could get close to correct focus by keeping it at F9 or so. The app and the phone obviously didn’t work that far away…would a wireless remote have a better range?

  4. The only person willing to help me with this is my mother. And she lives far away. I paid someone a lot of money to take mediocre photos that got me crap results. So this is my only option it seems.
