Thank you for this video. It was very helpful but I am a bit confused about what shader you used for your "Car Paint" shader.

I've been searching for ever for a way to do this without having to meddle with UV unwrapping. Thanks for this video

Nice, the accent is a little thick but its very helpful how you get to the point and especially go back over it real quick at the end distilled information good job!

Michael Klee blender Animation
thank you very much. you are a great entertainer :-)).
it works very well for me, i have two questions:
what if I want to have more glossy on the sticker than on the car material? my car has an image material i left the image for the extra node group but left rougness and bump, and connected them with the sticker as you showed it, is that the best solution?

PS i wonder why the material overrides the object settings you checked off. When i think about it, its quite weird actually. Especially checking off diffuse, that material is diffuse. How come diffuse object and diffuse material act different than?
Blenderado 3D
Thanks a lot for your tutorial. Where could I find the road texture?
Rombout Versluijs
This so much easier than working with uvchannels and doing custom uv unwrapping. Great technique!

If you make the car the parent of the image-as-a-plane, you'll be able to move the car model in any direction.
