In today’s video, I will be showing you all how to add colors and textures to any object in Blender: Cycles Render engine.

This tutorial works with any objects and any version of Blender, but is only available in the engine, Cycles.

Apply any textures to any objects and create your own realistic materials. For the longest time I was adding textures in Cycles render and wondering why it wouldn't show up when rendered. But I was using the Blender render method of adding a material then an image texture map. THANK U

Thanks a lot for the tutorial!, I have been looking for a solution to the "stretched texture" problem, do you know how to fix the stretching in the Material Viewport? It would be really useful to me. Thanks!!

Thanks for this video! I have some questions,1. you said use cycle render right? What's the difference with the other renders? And which one is the best? 2.where do you download the textures? 3.do all textures work on all render types? (Like blender render)
