The "create video timeline doesnt
If you want to clear a layer you can "select all" and "delete" on windows that is CTRL+A (works a lot of places, in PS too)
I don't have many options like video layer, onion skin in timeline (which looks differently too) and others.

I imagine you've figred this out, but you can just hit CMD+A (or CTRL on windowsI think) to select all and then just hit back space, or you could just create a new later and delte the previous one
