How do we import this back into Maya? I tried doing it, but the lens of the eye lost it's transparency, not to mention other loss of detail. Great tutorial, by the way.
but how do you uwrap the uv??? how do you even port it into photoshop
hi which mudbox version do you use? I'm using Mac 2010 and when I right click on the object there is no option to set opacity.
how come when i paint my stencil it comes out so much darker than what it really is please let me know

hey, I made the eye in maya with another method, but when i import it to mudbox i can't see the cornea's transparency. Does anybody knows why?. Sorry for the bad english by the way.

At the bottom is connect to maya update, or from file in Mudbox is send to maya update current scene. Or if you wanted to create a new scene from mudbox you could do that too.
The transparent layers aren't the same in Maya, when I playblast it or IPR render it…??

HOW DO I EXPORT THE PAINT LAYER AND THE OBJECT BACK TO MAYA?
there is a mistake in Maya then he cut poligons, so u cannot paint eye. learn uv first:)

how did you create the iris surface design before you applied the texture from photoshop? you never showed that.
