See how you can use Pinegrow to customize your Bootstrap 4 theme by modifying Bootstrap SASS variables and by overriding Bootstrap CSS rules.

Customizing Bootstrap is normally a bit complicated task because it requires setting up the SASS compilation environment, installing Bootstrap SASS sources and creating a file structure for your custom theme.

Requires Pinegrow 4.5.

  1. Seems incredibly tedious and not intuitive. You have to know every single step in right order just to get anything done. Cognitive resources needed to operate bootstrap in pinegrow is probably more taxing then programming in a text editor by hand.

  2. So helpful and also very pleasant to listen too and I think that the caring for the student developer, the caring for ( in the presenter) for designers/developers is as powerful as the tool.

  3. Hi, This is the best tutorial about working with Pinegrow, Bootstrap 4 and SASS! This tutorial made me buy the Pro WP version today. Are you planning to do more on this subject and go a bit more in detail about styling Bootstrap 4 with SASS? I did not found anymore documentation about this subject and I want to learn how to Change the color and size of the navigation etc. The problem is when you start fiddling around with SASS and don't know what your doing you get a mess! Warm Regards David
