i know he’s a professional photographer and I’m not but his editing is just excessive and the end result just looks artificial and unattractive to me, that background change was completely unnecessary honestly as the original sat nicely behind the Bugatti.

I want reflections and as much information as possible. The end result doesn't look natural, it looks more like a screenshot from a game. Removing lightposts people pollution and trashcans is as far as I would go.

I'm super sorry to say this, because this video of yours is made with the best positive intentions to bring something nice for the audience. And it is, but this is FAR from being a professional work.

The way Damien "showed" us the lightroom process was not natural, he made some STUNNING mistakes like total burn down the lights and miss the lents focus details of the subject.. Color to everyone preference not gonna bother here BUT.. the light and shadows later in PS.. what a disaster.

This, honestly, makes me a little sad. This is no longer photography, you might as well just have done a render from a 3D model. The outcome is beautiful, no doubt about that, but it is no longer a photo.

Hey Moe, another great collaboration! It's nice to see that the automotive community is so eager to share the knowledge and show how it's done, great to see that 🙂
My biggest issue with car photography is overdoing it when it comes to retouch and post production, maybe it may serve as a subject for one of yout tutorials? just an idea, feel free to use it.
I'd love to see feedback for other car photographers on another of your Q&A series, for example sharing my photos with you so you can tell me what you think.

Keep it up man, love to see new stuff from you!

I'd be very interested in how to straighten those reflection on the side like this. Does anyone know a tutorial for that? (Not a normal "removing reflections" tutorial. I'm really just looking for the straightening)

The light direction of the background doesn't match with the shadow of the car ! ! Take a look at the sun

OK, he shows us his Lightroom settings to this specific photo, but he doesn't tell why he does it. So we learned nothing. If he tells why he makes certain choises we can get a better understanding of it. During the Photoshop part he explains it a lot better.
