  1. Hi i am animated a 3d object in Maya 2014. I can not export the object as an fbx (it gives 5 different errors), so I exported it as an obj. When I look for map in this materials box in hitfilm it shows about 9 of these material folder things(names like: face_ 35blablabla, the object has only a body, spikes, eye and teeth Material) can somebody help me please, I worked already about 20h on this s***!

  2. Hey Hitfilm , i would like to see a toonshader suite or a module where we can load our own hlsl shaders or something similar. hitfilm is really great for compositing cartoons/anime because of its speed, and parralax movement is easy to do , some nice toonshaders for 3d effects and backgroundobjects would really be awesome.

  3. Very good tutorial! Thank you for posting this. So at present, HitFilm Pro does not support animated FBX but it does support animated Alembic? I guess the one advantage of Alembic is you could potentially import things like cloth simulation into HF Pro.

  4. I hope you can add reminders in your videos, place 'em at the beginning please. Because as someone who's new to these stuff I get frustrated halfway realizing i'd only be allowed to do some of the edits halfway because the rest are pro features.

this is usually because I tell myself you're using the pro version for your tutorials for utilization purposes.

I get used to Javert B's warnings, so it might just be me or me being amateur and all but still. I hope you update your videos, please. But over-all, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the in-depth tutorials 🙂 i hope to upgrade to pro soon

  5. i really love the work that you do and it's just sooooo awesome !!! you guys rock ! it is so,so kind of you to share all that stuff with us ( i particularly like the star wars videos 😉 great respect from belgium 🙂

  6. This makes me want to take another look at HF.. I've owned the pro version since V3, supported the OSX kickstarter, and basically never used it (nice plugs in AE though 😉 ), mainly because of the stuttering timeline scrubbing, which was a huge PITA… If that's now fixed, it could become very interesting…
