  1. Hi All !
I've been working with Blender from 2-3 months and have decided to model a room with a window but the HDRI is not working in the scene… Can anyone help/assist ? Please !
Every time I render with a HDRI or a JPG image I get this brown world color and the colors of the sky are just bouncing off of the outer walls of the room I modelled
    Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. For those of you who cant find windows generator 2, its now known as "archimech" and its a built in add-on within blender all you have to do is go to user preferences, add-ons, type in "archimech" and enable it. the window used in this tutorial is called window panel.

  3. Dude great content! You know what you are talking about and you give great advice. I would recommend buying the thing, not everything can be learned by just watching free tutorials, much cheaper than going to school for it..

  4. Newer versions of Blender come with the Archimesh add-on (in the user preferences) instead of the window generator, which has a bunch of architectural objects you might want with the cycles materials already set up. all the settings for it are in the 3D view properties tab (N) once you add a mesh.

  5. I tried following this tutorial but when i append the group for the chair all materials are blank, white. I tried appending the materials separately but they are also blank, what am I doing wrong ?

  6. When I load any file by linking or appending, the material won't show up in the viewport nor in the preview but I can see it if I open the file directly. Have been trying to find a solution but no result.Currently working on this tutorial with the models in the starter pack. Plz help, kind of in a dead end here 🙁 .
