Amazing tutorial !!!
Am I the only one that thought he was gonna teach us how to model the towel exactly?
Hello masters of 3d, I need help, when i try to bake my cloth it says "0 frames in memory (0.0 kb), cache is outdated" What should i do??? :<
2mm? I think in real life that'd be more like tissue
Can't believe how awesome this channel is..
How do I download blend file? Link is not working. Maybe some of you have saved file?
Thanks for that usefull tutorial
i thought it was tower lol
adding the loop cut no longer lets me subdivide…fuck sakes I hate this program
I can't for the life of me get my Macbook Pro to render this, I'm using the mid 2015 15" inch Macbook Pro running on an intel i7 processor and 16GB of RAM. seriously I think the particles are just too much for it. oh and if any fanboys are reading this…I seriously don't care, alright? unless you're going to post me a free computer with stupidly high specs I'm not interested in why you think Macs suck
"I like to keep things even so I'm using a mass value of 1"….I'm sorry, what?
Why did you use "Add shader"? This shouldn't be used for realism, I thought.
And the distance of the empty strip from the rim is on both sides different.
how do I do this in maya
cloth is completely broken for me. I have looked all over could you maybe point me towards a more recent tutorial
Fun! My first Blender project. 🙂 I'm having an issue with Weight Paint, though. Reference your video at 23:00. Your view shows the main towel red and the non-fuzzy bands dark blue. When I try the same thing, I get the main towel red (same as you), but the non-fuzzy bands variable color. The inner 50% is dark blue, but then the color is green for about another 40%, and the very outer parts (10%) are yellow. Can anyone help me understand/fix why mine aren't entirely blue like in the tutorial? (I tried the same steps in another project with a towel and the same results. But I tried them again with a plain plane and in that, the weight paint shows all uniform dark blue in the strips I've tried to exclude.) Thanks.
Could you use the cloth simulation for flopping dog ears? Or is that all in the rigging? (Or is that more for a wind simulation?)
PLZ DO A RIGGING TUTORIAL IN BLENDER
Mass number expresses fraction/percentage influence of the mass under the force of gravity, it's similar to Maya's Mass
I know this is an old video, but any help? I've tried rendering with my CPU (6700k) and GPU (750ti) and tried changing the thread amount and a whole bunch of other stuff in blender render settings, but it always says 1 hour and gets stuck on 0% done. I can render other scenes I make but this one will not. I also only have 8 gigs of ram but that can't be the problem can it ?
Whats your pc specifications?
R.I.P. my CPU 🙁
plz make video how to make hair
23.92 sec my render time 0.87 sec is yours. How many gpu you got there 😀
It took him 43s to render. I took me 5 minutes (50% full hd) on 6700K and 970gtx and 16gb ram. Gpu rendering. What i am doing wrong???
fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk downloadddddddddddddd
hey my problem is ı added drivers to my car wheels but and everything works except when i render the video it goes forward abit then backwards then forwards again. plz help its frustrating.
This is great stuff, but please please please stop modeling in user ortho. We see and think in perspective.
I learned more in the first 4 minutes about cloth simulations than I did in hours of trying to figure it out on my own. LOL Thanks.
Those 1mil particles got my computer set on fire and now my house is burned and im homeless.
I don't know if anyone still reads this old comments, but does anyone else run outa ram when they try to make so many hairs? i have 32gigs, and hair murders my rams.
Super tutorial !!!
Thx 😉
the mass is a multiple of the gravity over force applied
at 22:05 you select a lot of vertexes, how?
how can i make them actively rendered for ingame?
Very cool tutorial, thanks!
22:45 The two lines are offset. One is 8 squares from the side, other is 9. D:
What type of computer are you using? Over 50,000 pixels, and it was not stuttering at all.
