  1. the only problem I had was once I made the "armor" for his belly and moved it back up, when I click the eye for the subdivision modifier to smooth it back out, the armor doesn't smooth out with the dragon, it stays rigid looking and doesn't match up with the contour of the body. Any suggestions? otherwise, amazing video, great tutorial and thanks for making it.

  2. Thank you so much for this. I've been fumbling with Blender and not really knowing what to do, and all of a sudden it clicked around 10:30 into the video. Still not an expert of course, but it all makes sense now. Thanks!

  3. One tip I'm using to not having to switch between views is that I always have 4 3d windows for left, front, top and perspective/camera arranged like in most cad programs (or like in level editors for games like Quake or half life), this makes things easier.

"You're going to hit ctrl and the right middle mouse button…"
It took the longest time for me and my simple mind to realize that it could have been a mistake in words instead of my own operator error, and I doubt anyone else had this problem but for the longest time i was watching and rewatching that part trying to figure out how ctrl and the middle mouse button could keep from zooming in ^-^; it was the first time so far that I had had to use the right mouse button so the word "right" just didn't make it through…. hehe…. heh…
    (By the way awesome tutorial!!!)

  5. Hello
I up-grade to Windows 10Pro and isn’t showing thumbnail images anymore, as I did in Win7, the content & preview for “ .blend” files in the folder I have saved them. I can see any PNG or JPEG thumbnail & preview …Please advice!!! It is a great tool for selecting the right file faster!
    Thank you, Mic

  6. WOW! Is just so amazing… i'm actually learning how to use blender (I've model some swords but that's quite easy) and i wanted to do something realistic. Your dragon is so amazing! And I'm Spanish and i could understand your English just perfect. Thanks for your effort!
