  1. I wish I knew how to apply these tips to self portrait photography. I have no friends who'd take pictures of me because I'm always the photographer so self portraits are the only way I can have some good pictures of myself.

    1. Straight lines for more brashness, masculinity and S-curves for femininity
    2. Direct instead of pose. Give your model directions and instruction, give her a role to play or an emotion to depict. It's easier for newbees and it makes them feel more of an equal.
    3. Capture motion. Tell your subject to portray an action (eg mess with your hair, walk in place, jump), so the portrait can come to life. Capture the photo mid-action.

  3. went back to watch old videos in this channel…I miss those type of videos Mango street used to do. Their recent videos just does not interest me at all. RIP Mango street 2017-2017 :/
