  1. it keeps coming up as a black screen! please help me out! i have 5 cameras, they have constrants to some of the "actors" in my scene and others are aimed at the midle of the scene! it's a few actors dancing that end up getting attacked at the end! anyways it's very upsetting no matter how many videos i watch on youtube nothing helps always the same!… i have main camera aiming at center of scene! i really need help badly!

  2. I'm thinking of a one-minute animated ad; it's for a project from school. Can anybody give me an estimate of how long it will take to render at say, 30 frames per second, and at 720p, with the method showed above? I'm still completely new to Blender, but I just want to know if such a project is achievable for me (and for my computer).

  3. Another way, possibly simpler, is to use the Node Editor in Compositing mode instead of the Video Sequence Editor. Open the Node Editor, switch to Compositing. Click the Use Nodes button. Delete the Render Layers node. Add an Input Image node. Connect its Image output to the Composite node's Image input. Click on the Image node's Open button, navigate to the folder with your individual images and select all of them. In the Properties Render panel open the Output section and change the File Format to what movie format you like. In the Render section click on the Animation button to render the frames to a movie.

I figured out this way when I was trying to make a movie from a frame sequence of OpenEXR multilayer files; the VSE method wasn't working with them.

  4. Thank you. Being new to all of this I had been experimenting with various other tools to create the movie file. They sucked.. or I just don't know how to use them … probably the later!Of course I started rendering it via the video format and yep… corrupt file!!!This tutorial is EXACTLY what i needed… until i get into my big boy pants and step off to other more professional editing software.. and all that kind of stuff.Like someone else said .. you're my hero!
