  1. This is how you would go about doing it the quickest way possible, I wouldnt consider it a standard or dignified practice. Should definitely spend a good amount of time painting weights to make sure the model doesnt bend like a wet noodle, and then design a character rig with controllers and other animation helpers as well if needed.

  2. Hello! I got 2 questions for you: every bone shouldn´t have zero rotation in all axes? So how can you rotate the arm the way you did? And this will generate warnings in the HIK definition "not parallel to the X axis", this could be ignored?

  3. I'm working in maya 2015 and I got to the point where the bones have been colored but on the right side of my screen I do not have the "Character Controls". I'm new to this and I had created my own character and am not sure if I am able to access this, could someone help me out?

  4. Was the 3d model you used for this a singular 3d object ( like 2 cubes fused together as one object) or a collection of 3d objects (like 2 cubes designated to the same group?) thanks

  5. Well done ,, one of the best tutorials I have seen on here , I have been using Maya for a while now however
