I can't find the link that you dropped to the description below
This is actually the mathematical basis behind the unsharp mask filter. It is basically this technique on rails.
Thank you so much! You've teached me a lot. :))
Nice!
You did it again. Make me stand up from the couch and run over to my PC to try this trick and be completely amazed about it. Do these type of videos ten times a day and I will start calling you my personal trainer because of all the physical exercise I will get from walking between my couch and computer. Thank you as always.

@piximperfect In my camera, there are 12bit and 14bit for taking pictures, what's the difference when I edit in photoshop? Because I can't see in these 2 RAW files.
Thank you so much
Thank you so much!! Additionally to being magically helpful passing all this knowledge, you put the positive sequence!! You really are precious!
hey Pix i use this tip for a long time (first time i knew something before i saw it here :D) but actually if you use "surface blur" it works even better as it doesnt accentuate on non edge surface no ?
How is it compared to high pass when you use hard light or linear light instead of overlay?

This sharpening tip is excellent, now I know a new way of sharpening. Thank you very much. I tested this against smart sharpen and the results seemed quite similar. Do you think there is a difference between the two outputs?
