Nice interview.
I see Andrew on the right, Gary on the left; I hear Andrew on the left, Gary on the right… ghhaaah, the ocd is killing me
LMFAO!!!!
"I feel like a crack addict pumping these out" OMG that had me crying!
Great interview, Gary and Andrew. Gary, I totally agree with you on education. It is outdated and over-priced. You aren't taught the reality of having to market yourself, dealing with clients, managing various projects or even setting up invoices.
WITH THE CURRENT WAY OF THINKING OF THE BLENDER COMMUNITY…
BLENDER WILL ALWAYS REMAIN A NICHE PRODUCT !!!
Andrew had good ideas of improving Blender and they are being shot down.
New users will stay away from Blender – especially since there are easier products out there – even if you have to pay for them.
Andrew's main idea was to easily bridge the difficulty gap so that Blender could take over 3DS Max and Maya – but you people obviously don't want that.
You know what would be funny? If later on, Andrew got a development team to create an easier-to-use version of Blender – and he fucking BLEW AWAY ALL OF THE COMPETITION !!!
That would be hilarious.
I can't hear a flying fuck what Andrew is saying.
