  1. Great interview, Gary and Andrew. Gary, I totally agree with you on education. It is outdated and over-priced. You aren't taught the reality of having to market yourself, dealing with clients, managing various projects or even setting up invoices.

  2. WITH THE CURRENT WAY OF THINKING OF THE BLENDER COMMUNITY…
    BLENDER WILL ALWAYS REMAIN A NICHE PRODUCT !!!
    Andrew had good ideas of improving Blender and they are being shot down.
    New users will stay away from Blender – especially since there are easier products out there – even if you have to pay for them.
    Andrew's main idea was to easily bridge the difficulty gap so that Blender could take over 3DS Max and Maya – but you people obviously don't want that.
    You know what would be funny? If later on, Andrew got a development team to create an easier-to-use version of Blender – and he fucking BLEW AWAY ALL OF THE COMPETITION !!!
    That would be hilarious.
