Colin Levy directed Sintel, and now works at Pixar. I was staying with him for 2 weeks working on his new short film, so we decided to do the first ever Blender Guru video podcast 😀

  1. Some are just natural conversationalists AND talented at a creative craft. I think I have too much nervous energy to be able to talk for two hours straight. It was really hard to stop listening to this interview though. EDIT: Milestone! And I'm not even a huge fan.

  2. Andrew, to view this podcast from start to end I needed 3 days.
I watched it from time to time. But it was interesting for me. Both of you are interesting for me.
Both of you are people who have such success in work, which I love so much, CG.
I was very surprised that your dreams are no different from my own.
I just want to wish you a lot of fun on the way of achieving your goals.
And I do not doubt in your success in achieving the dream.

  3. i started with blender 3 month ago, and i modelling and make animations and stuff every day after work, Usually take project time about week minimum time, from modelling to rendering, but i have some projects where im stuck in some poiints 😀 for me is not important speed , important is quality in every aspect. and i try use pure colors and lighting not textures, it make objects more relaistic looking.

  4. It was long and rambling but that's okay.  I think one can be happy, when you are focused in the here now moment, and make this moment happy as a foundation upon which everything else exists in your doing and being.  A few minutes of meditation regularly is helpful too.
