ABOUT ME
Hey guys! I am a Canadian beauty “guru” – lol not really. I just love makeup, hair, fashion, design.. and I enjoy documenting these things. I’m not a false-eyelash, perfect nails, hair extensions kind of girl. My channel is for the everyday person – the lazy person, the person who colours their hair crazy colours once in a while, the person who has a budget and can’t afford tons of expensive shit, the person who skips steps in the stereotypical beauty routine. This channel is evolving into something I’m really proud of. Join the fun, subscribe if you want, and we can be everyday people together. Y’know, if you like that kinda thing.

  1. I just came from your video: HOW TO FIX ORANGE HAIR – 3 WAYS
    , and had a few questions…:)
I gotta ask will a demi-permanent ash color fade? In other words will the orange color eventually come through again? If it does eventually come through with so many washes, can a permanent ash color be used?

I am a level 8 gold (honey blonde) and my hair is ever so slightly orange. If I get and ash color over that what will the result be?

  2. OMG, I so want you to try the new CoverGirl Outlast Active foundation. It's awesome and is very similar to both the Ready Set Gorgeous and the Double Wear Light. I wear almost all the same shades as you, and the 805 Ivory works great. Just sayin'. 😊

  3. Personally i feel that the Estée Lauder looks a tiny bit better. Just a hinch softer, like a blurred effect if you will. But, the CG is quite pretty too and if one is on a budget this seems to be a good alternative.

  4. I tried a tiny sample of the double wear light and was unsure as the texture was so different to the old one. The reviews online are terrible but I’m wondering if that is because the people who use the old formula are reviewing it and miss old one. I’m still tempted to dry. Is it really matte?

  5. I looked for the covergirl foundation, I can’t find it. 🙁 maybe they don’t sell it in the states? Or maybe it’s a different name? Anyone know? Thanks! Great video Jess! Thank you! Have a Great week end!

  6. I love that you actually zoom in close enough for us to see any skin texture. A lot of beauty gurus will "zoom in" but you can't see anything because they don't want you to see any imperfections so they won't bring you in close enough.
