    Don't forget that the post fix addition can be done in the compare part of the while:
    while (count++ < 10) {…}
    – and –
    do {…} while(count++ < 15)
    Much shorter than adding a separate assignment line.
    Pre/Post fix addition/subtraction can also be used in the for loop as you don't have to actually use the first or third part of the for statement. It is also worth pointing out that you can do multiple assignments in the first and third part. Example:
    for (a=0, b=0, c=0; a++<5; b++, c=a-b)
