  1. This was great! Just wondering, it seems that the preview for brush size isn't on by default, (the outlined circle showing how big your brush is,) and I can't figure out how to turn it on. I'm coming from photoshop, so that'd be really helpful! Thanks!

  2. hi for some reason the decrease/ increase size with [ ] or { } dont work at all on my Illustrator ( they do on photoshop) I already checked on my keyboard short cut and they are on the default mode but dont work.. HELP PLEASE

  3. This is a great video to watch if you havent used AI in a year and need a quick reminder. I think you did a great job. I wish YouTubers did more videos like this… no fluff just straight to business!

  4. 2:50 remove and add anchor points
    3:03 pen tool to make curves and lines
    3:30 selection tool to edit existing points

    3:35 curvature tool, variation of pen tool) Can click multiple points and continue the curvature
    3:55 Can use alt to make it a sharp line instead of a curved line

    4:00 to create text, use text tool T
    4:10) Array of type tools to type along paths, or inside of specific areas, etc

    4:17) Brush tool B
    Smooths out your brush strokes automatically

    4:37 eyedropper tool
    Select an object, then Press I for eyedrop tool and the new color you eyedrop on = takes over the color of your currently selected object

    5:00 SHape builder tool) Shift N
    Drag shapes together and can add or subtract them to create new shapes
    -Hold Alt + Click on overlaps will delete overlapping shapes
    – Shift click will fill in overlapping negative space
    5:25) -Esc will make seperate shapes out of all the overlapping areas

  5. hahahaha this guy is one of those idiots who makes videos about how to get a six pack in a week or lose 50 pounds in a week, etc and there are people who believe it! What's your next video? How to learn AutoCAD in 10 minutes! looking forward to it
