    Camera > Measure Tools > Distance Tools. Click camera, then click object. In camera's Attributes, go to Depth of Field, input measurement into Focal Distance.

    hi mike i was wondering if there is a way to have death of feild on poly count for example if you model a high detailed car and you place it in the far background of you scene its not as detialed but as you animate the camara closer you can start to see more details.i guess what im trying to say is there a way to reduce the poly count when the object is in the distance
