This video show you how you can use Maya’s cool BlendShape editing workflow and the Pose Space Deformers to rig a character’s face.
Rigging with BlendShapes is super easy using Maya’s sculpting tools.
Pose Space Deformers let you connect blendshapes to poses of a skeletion (or other influence objects).

As a rigging student the bonus tools are a gift to discover. Also thank you for the clear explanation of the pose editor!

at 18:54 you say you can create a relation to the jaw bone so that when you move the O slider the jawbone will automatically open aswell. I was looking for a way to do that when I came across this video. Can you explain how to create that connection? When I try and connect two blendshapes to a control object, the new connection overwrites the old one.
it is a good tutorial, but seems like doesn't work with game
