  1. Hi Mr. Hermes, newbie here! If I draw all sides of an object how can I use this technique to combine all the parts and create a complete 3D model of that object? Is your technique here the holy grail of fast and easy 3D modeling??

  2. Thank you for posting!

    I'm having a pretty big problem though….
I make my flat surface and all, and I have it selected when I go to Texture to Geometry, and I select my file, a sword with a few repetitive curves in it. I have it saved as a 10 by 10 jpg white on black exported from illustrator. And when I apply the conversion, it does not post on my flat surface. Its initial view is only fully viewable from the front perspective, I try to do the hyper shade, and its working all screwy. Did you have any trouble shooting from this?

    Thank you!

  3. The shape I want it black instead of everything else meaning I can't extrude it. Is there a way to change the black polys to white(and what are they called), or a way to invert the colours when using texture to geometry?

  4. Great content. Thanks for sharing.
There's another way (or many). I use the import method and Bevel tool.
Playing around with the settings you'll get neat results.

    Greetings from North Mexico.
