In this short Maya 2016 tutorial I will explain the use of instancing . This will allow you to control and manipulate multiple objects in one go and can be interesting when populating scenes with a range of objects such as trees, fences, rocks etc.

Is it possible to make instance in one way like connectAttr -f ?
Гребаный Ет! А как прервать связь???
Does this also work when you unwrap one of those and load some texture, so that every instance has the same UV Map and texture too?
Is there a way to duplicate special while flipping the object along x to make it symetrical ?
would be good if you covered how to adjust the attributes within duplicate special, for placing clumps of grass seamlessly for example. A little more depth and it would have been great, still a good tutorial for what you covered.
Thank you for your tutorials. Gracias!
Are people allowed to use the maya student version for different things other than personal learning purposes?
Pls make a tutorial (detailed, if u have the time) explaining what nodes are and what nodes do and how to use nodes for materials, textures, colors etc.
