UV Editor not showing UVs (only the toolkit window pops up)…. How to fix it?
Hi Mike. I press UV – Automatic and I get the error "// Error: file: /Applications/Autodesk/maya2020/Maya.app/Contents/scripts/others/performPolyAutoProj.mel line 586: This command requires at least 1 argument(s) to be specified or selected; found 0. // ". I have a texture (tiff image) applied on aiStandardsurface in hyper shade.

5:22 Maya 2020: I'm using shell selection mode. When I try to move the UVs the others get dragged out of shape. How do I separate them? The UVs aren't touching but still influenced. I'm stuck.

holy hell this is so annoying so whenever I move a face in the UV editor it moves the face I have selected, as well as the edges that face is connected to, even though I followed the exact same steps you did. How do I separate them?

Is there a way to change the size of the image you use as a texture in maya? When I go to the UV editor the image I'm trying to use for the texture is way bigger than the square it displays on in the uv editor

I hate to ask but its driving me up a wall, I have been trying to figure it out why maya 2015, was able to do that dragging thing you did using the cube tool but in 2016 I am not able to do that, but I just seen you do it in the beginning of the video. how do you set Maya 2016 to allow you to use the cube tool like a tool rather then place block soon as clicked?
