At 1.15 sec when I chose Arnold instead of hardware the screen goes blank. I checked the exposer if it's too dark but nothing is seen. Tried changing it from shader ball to cloth or plane nothing works. Any idea what's wrong?
excuse me, I have a question?, after rendering a ball for instance with the color yellow or orange?, then when you animate the ball does the color goes included in animation, that is, when making a video?

well I'm a student, and I understand to many things that I realy thanks you about the video, 'cause it's not only about talk like a pro. It's about talk for someone who don't know enything about the program.
I've worked in CG for 16 years––graduated from NCCA Bournemouth in 2000. I hate to be harsh, but this ‘training’ video is unacceptable. The presenter throws jargon around to create an impression of expertise, but references to fresnel as ‘just something that changes the quality of the reflection’, repeated misuse of the term ‘self-illumination’ etc betray a fundamental lack of basic training. It’s actually harmful to people trying to learn something. Lynda.com should take the video down and take a long hard look at their vetting.
When creating a Training video it is important for the "trainer" to be educated. The description given about the properties of the ai shader is not only generic but in some cases incorrect. I admire anyone willing to take the the time to create a video to help people get started but, this is just a sad attempt.
