This seems to be like the magic “do it” button in Maya 2018: the Quick Rig Tool lets you analyse a given geometry, then automatically place joints and build a skeleton, bind the geometry and finally even attach a HIK rig.

Thank you for your help sir…
Perfect, thanks!
what about hands
Hi Roland. Thanks in advance.. do you know how I can add stretchy arms to this rig? Please share if you do!
What about hand fingers?
I have tried this, but for some reason I cannot see the skeleton properly or the handles. I can only see a yellow line in the body, not the triangular looking joints.
Super vielen Dank, wirklich sehr hilfreich.
Thank you. You helped me a lot 😊
damn
Rigging is very bad of 3dsmax and maya quick rig is fine but it hasnt include fingers
Ive had a problem in quick rigging, its error this way "C:Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2018/scripts/startup/openQuickRigUi mel line 10: RuntimE error file ". help please…..
my snap to center is not working WTF
if only this quick rig includes fingers and toes, this would be the best rig tool ever made for free. but sadly it will never happen so we still waste $$ on those third party rig tool, shame for autodesk for being stupid. a rig without fingers and toes? wtf is the point?
I wish I found this earlier, thank you

Hi,Mr.Reyer, this video is realy helpful, thank you! hello, i can't animate the head on this model. I create interpolated keyframes, but this don't moving.
we are here to CLAP CLAP rig you up
This is great, but how do you animate it? Seems like the usual methods dont work :/ *as in animating in the channel box. Do you have use animation layers or something? Thanks
Could you help me ? I seems cannt have my character being pulled down just like you did ( 1:08 – 1:14). Because I would really like to learn to rig. Thanks, I appreciated
The one thing none of these guides mention is how to add more bones on top of the quickrig, since its not a typical bone system. I need hands, tails, eye bones ect – but nowhere lists how to do it.
hello Roland Reyers thank you for the tutorial but im having a problem, i have rigged my character using the quick rig but when i moved to ik the characters whole body doesnt move along with it like yours
and face facial rig ? when will you make ?
