Maya 3D Modeling Hair Character Modeling Part 01 #ArtillerSoup

Since I have a video on making the head I decided to skip it. And continue on the current model I’m working on. Next time, I’ll make another video from start to finish when I decided to make another model.

Encountered a minor bug midway.

I supposed to record further like modeling the body and etc. But it’ll take so much space and a huge upload in the end.

Note: Parts of the model may change on the next video, because I need to do some minor polishing geometry to the work.

  1. Thank you soooo much for this, one of the only good anime hair tutorials out there that doesn't involve inserting a ton of individual strands, it's definitely a lot cleaner this way. Also I'm curious, just an estimate, how long did it take you to get rly comfortable with topology cuz it's something I'm still rly struggling to get a grasp on

  2. Cool, don't worry about the head. I don't say that "all the faces are the same", but i'm think, what differentiates one anime model from others is the hairstyle. or i'm wrong?
