  1. You should have put this and the fourth video in your series together and make it the first video, by far the best introduction to Maya I´ve seen, your first 3 Maya videos made me terrified of Maya you didn´t even say how to navigate the user interface until the fourth video. Good thing you did. But like I said, this was a really good video

  2. Maya polygon modeling tutorials for beginners:

  3. In my chase, when I try to select the edge (same thing for vertex and face), the whole objet is selected and the wire becomes yellow, with big vertices of the same color. When I try with the tools, the objet reescales in a weird form, and translating itself out of the original point where it was (0,0,0). Could you please tell me how to solve it? Becouse I'm afraid that, if this doesn't work, then I won't be able to model, at least in the same way that you teach in the tutorials =(

  4. First from all, great job with the tutorial series. Maya is a huge program and, for people like me who do not have any idea of it, your tutorials are the perfect way of start learning. Thanks a lot for your effort. Now, I'm using Maya 2013 and I'm in trouble. I've followed all the steps that you've done in the video and when I try to edit an edge (vertex, face or whatever) with the tools (rotate, scale, move) I do not get the resoult that you get in 09:40 or 12:36 .
