Had some free time so I made this series of maya tutorials, they’re pretty basic so anyone not new to this has no reason to watch them. I’ll probably make more later on this week.

I think maya is an easy program compared to other 3d modeling programs such as animation master. I gave up on that program and spent a lot of money on it too. Working with splines is way too difficult. D ;

so u mean that u want 2 select a face? in order 4 u 2 do that, u have 2 hold right click button and go faces. that way, u can select the face that u want or click and drag the whole object if u want 2 select everything. hope that helps u.
i got a problem… everytime i click left button and press faces…nothing seems to happend… i cant do anything as the tutorial says because of that problem… is there any reason why it shouldnt work?… with no object at all…
uhm I can't see what tools your clicking because the camera is always pointing at the object..

Hej Sebastian, vill börja med att tacka för ett sjysst initiativ. Det enda problemet är i denna fas att man inte ser menyn. Du säger; "I extrude with this one" sen klickar du på något som inte syns. jag kan vrida, flytta och snurra och dra ut kuben (men bara i två riktningar samtidigt). fattar inte annars hur man modifierar objektet. tacksam för svar

Select the move tool with the "w" key, or choose the move manipulator from the sidebar on the… side. 😛
Alright, let's say that I just made a box like you did on here. I'm assuming this should be really simple, but, I can't figure out how to move the box from one place to another after making it. x.x

You are in wireframe mode. Press the number 5 on your keyboard to go into shaded mode.
When i make a polygon it's transparent and i can just see the green/blue lines around.
Is it maybe because I use demo verson?
