JL, New subscriber. Speaking from one hard surface modeler to another your work is right on. Great workflows and spot on advise. BTW have you ever experimented with Maya's hidden tools (polyRetopo; and polyRemesh;)? Would love your thoughts. Thanks again and keep up the good fight!

Hi Jay, thank you a lot for the videos! I have followed your work and now I am able to do some stuff in Maya. I would like to ask you if you could please do a tutorial explaining how to make sort of face masks. I am trying to model the Ironman face mask and I just cant get it.
    Thank you for inspiring us!

Great tutorial. Definitely good tips for those starting or using Maya. Really liked that you showed the multi-cut tool since its pretty powerful even for not creating a edge loop through an entire object.
Just placing this here for quicker tool access.
Grow selection – shift+ > ( Left direction will minus and Right will add)

Another awesome video. Question though. If it is Bender (Which I'm pretty sure it is.) wouldn't doing the extrusion for the eyes be easier by extruding something similar to how you did the mouth?
