In this video, Wes shows how to create a character skeleton for use with Mecanim in Unity. He starts by showing how to create simple joints one at a time with mirroring functionality. Next, Wes shows how to use the automatic HumanIK skeleton generator in Maya LT and does a step by step walk-through of adjusting the skeleton, wrapping up with skin binding.
