This is the first look into character rigging. Rigging is such a wide area, so these tutorials are going to be uploaded in parts. The first part is:

– Setting up the skeleton.

  1. Hey man, great tutorial, however I am having a few issues and I was hoping you could help me out….
    I've done the LRA orientation, however when I rotate the spine as you did it rotates but the spine does not bend, it just rotates as if it is a single object. How do I correct this…?

  2. Great vid, but I suggest you orient the joints before you mirror them because sometimes you need to do a bit of fine tuning and mirroring over the orientation saves a lot of time, a small thing I know but just a tip in return for the mass of tips you're giving me with this vids 🙂
