  1. Great work again Mike! Easier way around this with more modern versions of Maya would be to select the focal point (object you want to focus the turntable on). Go to the Animations tab > Visualize > Create Turntable > Set how long you want the turntable to be > Make yourself a cup of tea whilst everyone else trys to do it this way 😉

  2. To change the pace or speed click on the frame numbers on the circle path, open attribute editor, position marker shape and TIME should be under position marker attributes

  3. Can you please to make a Tutorial: Animate a camera with aim, some object along a path and with zoom in and Zoom out and with to take 2 cameras and take different point of of the view of the object in Maya

  4. Hi Mike! Just wondeirng how you change the orientation of the camera with this. Everytime I tilt the camera up or down it resets back to the original view? Thank you!!

  5. Maya 2014: (With object you want to turn selected) Animate > Turntable. Make sure to click the box to open options for Turntable, there you can set the direction clockwise or counterclockwise and also choose how many frames you want. Add a pedestal underneath and that's literally it.

  6. Hi mike! I would ask you if this method is better than put a fixed camera and make a group with all objects and only rotate the group. I'm making my first 3D demoreel and i would like to know what is the best way 🙂 Thank you everything!!

  7. Never mind! xD I figured it out, awesome tutorial!

This is a great tutorial on simple turntables! But how do I adjust my camera's rotation speed? Mine ended up rotating pretty fast. I pretty much set mine up exactly how your tutorial is but I'm befuddled on why mine came out slightly different.

  8. Hi, great tutorial! But – I'm using Maya 2015 and the camera won't move after I attach it. I'm certain I did everything as shown and while attaching, both camera and the circle were selected. I'd be very happy if you'd answer me, 'cause I'm really struggling here. Thanks!
